I live 50 miles away from Epping Forest but when I heard it was snowing I didn't want to miss the photo opportunity. I arrived the following day to find the blue skies and white fluffy sparkly snow had been replaced with grey skies, a heavy sleet and slush underfoot. I used a longer exposure and tripod to catch the trailing sleet against the texture and interesting form of an ancient hollow oak tree to make the best of the situation.
I call this my 'Game of Thrones Tree'.
